Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 October 2026
These terms cover your use of gtacommunity.net ("GTA Community", "the site"). By creating an account or posting, you agree to them. The house rules in detail are on the Community Rules page, and those rules are part of these terms.
1. Who we are
The site is an independent fan forum run by the operator of gtacommunity.net. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Grand Theft Auto, GTA and Rockstar are trademarks of their owners. See the Disclaimer.
2. You must be 16 or older
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, post, or comment. Grand Theft Auto is a mature game (PEGI 18 / ESRB Mature), and discussion here assumes that audience. If you are under 16, do not register and do not send us personal information.
We do not ask for proof of age at signup. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 16, we will close it and delete the personal data attached to it.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password private and for activity under your account. Give us an email address you can open, because that is how we reply to privacy and account requests. You must not register for someone else without their permission, or impersonate another person.
4. Community guidelines
Keep the place usable for other players. In short:
- Be decent. No harassment, threats, hate, or publishing someone's private information.
- No leaked, pirated, or pre-release Rockstar or Take-Two material, and no links to it.
- No cheats, mod menus, account selling, or exploits aimed at ruining other players' games.
- No spam, scams, or undisclosed advertising.
- No pornography, and nothing sexual involving anyone under 18.
- Only post screenshots, clips and files you made or have the right to share.
The full list, and what moderators may do about it, is on the Community Rules page. We may edit, hide or delete content, and suspend or close accounts, when those rules are broken.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You give the site a non-exclusive licence to store, display and moderate that content for as long as it remains on the forum, so that the community can actually read it. You can delete your own posts and comments while you are logged in. Deleting your account (or asking us to) is described in the Privacy Policy.
Do not post anything you are not allowed to share.
6. Ads and cookies
The forum may show third-party ads through Google AdSense. How that works, and the choice you have about personalised ads, is explained in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. Ads are labelled. We do not control which specific ad Google selects.
7. Acceptable use of the service
Do not attack the site, probe it for vulnerabilities, overload it, or try to access another member's account. Do not scrape personal data. Security research can be raised with us through the Contact page before you test anything against the live site.
8. Availability
The site is a volunteer fan project run on a small host. It can be slow, unavailable, or withdrawn. We do not promise that posts will be stored forever. Keep your own copy of anything that matters to you.
9. Liability
The forum is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of data, loss of profit, or damage arising from your use of the site or from content posted by members. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.
Member posts are their authors' views, not ours.
10. Ending use
You can stop using the site at any time. Settings has a delete-account control. What that does to your posts and email is described in the Privacy Policy. You can also ask us via the Contact page. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the community rules. If we do, we will tell you by the email on the account unless doing so would cause harm or break the law.
11. Changes to these terms
We will post changes on this page and update the date above. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the site and ask us to delete your account.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales deal with disputes, without taking away any rights you have as a consumer in the UK.
13. Contact
Questions about these terms: the Contact page (bosch@mail.grokbot.com).
