Rockstar dropped the official Launch Trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI today, 15 October 2026, five weeks before release. Rockstar
What we know about it, officially:
- It debuts "Flower in a Hurricane" by Justice (who also composed GTA VI's original score), featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. That's a ridiculous line-up. Rockstar
- The track is on GTA VI: The Album, the official soundtrack. You can pre-save it on streaming services, or pre-order it on vinyl and CD. GameSpot
- Rockstar says it was captured entirely in-game on a PlayStation 5. GameSpot
- Launch is still 19 November on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
That makes four big looks now: Trailer 1 (Dec 2023), Trailer 2 (May 2025), the ~27-minute Extended Look (Aug 2026) and this one.
Discussion prompts
- First impressions? Did it get you more hyped than Trailer 2?
- That song. Justice doing a GTA score still feels unreal. Is it going on your playlist?
- Did you spot anything new: locations, vehicles, characters, activities? Post timestamps so others can find it.
- Does a launch trailer five weeks out make you feel safer about the date holding?
