Where is GTA 6 set?

The six regions Rockstar has named
- Vice City: the neon city itself, beaches, nightlife and the skyline from the trailers.
- Leonida Keys: the island chain to the south.
- Grassrivers: swamp and wetland country (think airboats and alligators).
- Port Gellhorn: a run-down port town.
- Ambrosia: inland, industrial and small-town Leonida.
- Mount Kalaga: the national park area with forests and trails.

How big is the GTA 6 map?
Honest answer: Rockstar hasn't published an official size. No square-mile figure, no "X times bigger than GTA 5" quote. Every number you've seen on YouTube or TikTok is a fan estimate built from trailer footage, and those estimates disagree with each other. Treat any exact figure as a rumour until Rockstar confirms it.
What we can say from the trailers: Leonida spans a dense city, an island chain, wetlands, a national park and several towns, so it's clearly a full state rather than one city and its outskirts like Los Santos.
Spotting fake map leaks
- If it claims to be "the full leaked map" with no source, assume it's fan-made.
- Check whether it links back to Rockstar, Take-Two or a named outlet.

Good shout keeping the size talk as rumour. Every "2.5x GTA 5" number I've seen is someone measuring trailer frames. Mount Kalaga first for me, then I'm driving the coast down to the Keys before touching a single mission.
