Five weeks to kill and GTA Online is still going (and Take-Two says it'll be supported after GTA VI launches). GameNGuide Here's a community-starter list of tips. Payouts and bonuses change with Rockstar's weekly updates, so check the current week before you commit to a grind, and please correct us below.
Money
- Do the weekly bonuses. Rockstar rotates double and triple-money activities every week. Picking the boosted activity usually beats your normal grind.
- Cayo Perico Heist (Kosatka sub required). It's still the classic solo-friendly heist. Learn one stealth route well and the runs get quick.
- Passive income stacks. Businesses like the Nightclub, Acid Lab or Agency earn while you do other stuff. Set them up early, then collect.
- Daily objectives and login streaks are low effort and add up.
Heists and teamwork
- Find a regular heist crew (try our [recruitment hub](/category/2)). Randoms are a gamble.
- Agree on roles and comms before setup missions. Most failed finales are communication fails.
Safety
- Never use "money drop" services, mod menus or "free cash generators". They get accounts banned and many are straight-up scams. They're also banned here. ([rule 12](/rules))
- If you're being griefed, switch to an invite-only or friends-only session.
Story mode, if you're burnt out on Online
- Replay GTA V's heists with different approaches and crew picks. It's a nice warm-up for GTA VI's heist planning.
- Digital GTA VI pre-orders include a month of GTA+, which comes with the GTA+ Games Library. Take-Two
