Lots of "I heard GTA 6 has…" posts are flying about. Here's what was actually reported from the Extended Look and the previews Rockstar gave outlets. Each point has a source.
Switching between Jason and Lucia
- When they're together you can switch seamlessly, e.g. drive, then swap to fire out of the passenger window. TechRadar, reporting Rockstar's Dazed interview
- You can also play as one character alone, or have the other tag along. Per IGN's preview (via The Verge), whether they're a romantic couple is partly up to you, and there's even a hand-holding mechanic. The Verge
Life-sim touches
- Food affects weight, and exercise visibly builds muscle. Long stretches without sleep, or being on the run, take a toll on how they look. TechRadar
- There's plenty of customisation: clothes, hair, tattoos, makeup, vehicles.
Police and crime
- The six-star wanted system is back, and police remember what you look like, so changing outfits can help you lose them. The Verge, citing IGN
- Pricier cars are harder to steal, and some need specific equipment. Older motors are your friend.
Scale
- Rockstar North's Rob Nelson told the NYT that a February playthrough took 80 hours, story plus some optional content. Rockstar also says the map is three times RDR2's playable map. The Verge
Phones and social
- Snapmatic returns, but per IGN you can't post on it, because Jason and Lucia don't want a digital footprint. 😅 The Verge

- Which of these are you most excited for? The wanted system remembering your face sounds brilliant (and terrifying).
- Weight and fitness systems: RDR2 nostalgia, or tedious chore?
- 80 hours for story plus some extras. Too long, too short, or just right?
